Sharpened teeth

Walk away, don't turn back, no need to feel under attack
just keep walking away from the pack
the baying hounds ready for flesh and blood
the hateful chorus echoes around the wood

Blood drips from bared teeth as the crowd snarls and barks
growls, a warning, to leave you alone in the dark
alone, safe zone, awake, til dawn light hits the halls
head screams with voices and hideous calls

Turn away, the stains of the day wash clear in the rain
the floods soak away the pain
except the thoughts that float in the brain
constantly shouting out your name

Murmur grows louder, a thought that wont release
prowls round your mind like a thief trying to steal the peace
once its in place it steals the air that you breathe
like a vampire sucking your lifeblood through sharpened teeth

Thanks for reading,
Peace & Love.
Kyle.
