A vision of beauty,
on those lonely nights.
When the shadows
play and gremlins fight.
Lavish hair,
orange like sunlight,
skulking through
like a fox creeping by.
Her smile as golden
as earth’s mighty treasures.
The burden of pressure
evaporated from sight.
All I could witness,
this jewel on the tide.
Her glorious eyes.
So many questions
I could ask them.
I’m take a running jump
at the lake of answers
and I dive in.
Feeling the waves take me
to the banks on the other side.
Under luxurious skies,
my gaze would never rise
above the horizon.
For to glance away would be,
enough to drain me
of so much warmth,
that I’d freeze internally.
