I'm just a zombie in love,
I love you for your brains,
they taste so good,
as I claw them from above.
I'd like to sing you a song,
a loving croon
but I can't hold a tune,
just an inarticulate moan.
I'm just a zombie in love,
I want to give love bites all over.
But if I did, I'd turn you green,
you'd be like me,
a monster from the silver screen.
Don't want to scare the normal folk.
So, we tell them I'm a Halloween joke.
I'm just a zombie in love,
I may be slow,
I kind of stagger everywhere I go,
Like one of those people you get in town,
walking slowly then turning around.
I lurch, I shuffle, slowly advancing,
I have two left feet, but they are just for snacking
and I don't do dancing.
I'm just a zombie in love,
my speech is not particularly good.
It only has a one-word vocabulary,
but please don't call the constabulary.
I just need to feed,
those human heads contain the sweetest meat.
I'm not one of those evil zombies,
I'm not a monster, I'm just in love.
Though I could use a hand
these bodies are hard to dispose of.
