My eyes are satellites, pupils
grazing on space and time,
starlight illuminated
daisy chain pathways
Pointing to
the stained glass windows of you.
A church where I lay my truth.
The horizon of heaven sits uneven,
but perfect. Unseen but worshipped.
Angels are real. I know,
as fingertips brush off
old memories leaving only
kisses. butterflies stitching
the heart inside a cosmic embrace.
And my lips fall apart,
jealous of those fingertips, prise
a word from the soul,
A wrenched free
whispered prayer.
Becoming one in a silent amen.
A ripple, in the
swollen blush of an ocean.
for my heart sits beholden,
my cheeks - A field of roses,
To dance on.
A glance of untold truth.
And in cadence of song, I hold on to
A lifetime of memories
Stuck like glue. Even when you are
gone, I still feel you.
I'm whole when wrapped in
the pulsing sonar of your heart,
a soul star chart of happiness.
In a wish, of static that clears
to nothingness, a fog that drifts
into crystal-clear fidelity.
I'm on my knees and exalted waves
Of tears weep from me.
A dream turned to fantasy.
A duet in a heartbeat.
In rhythmic poetry...
You glow. You glow.. You glow...
And I will never dull your lightshow.
You swim through every river,
In every sunbeam, you stand
in every mountain, In every dream.
You move me. To move me.
To make my feet flow free.
So I too can feel every blade of grass
this earth has gifted me.
And I'll gift that lifting joy right
back to you. With a promise of more,
Every day of this story read through.
My lips speak in reverie
as your aura encircles me,
An aurora of eternity, and I'm glowing
from the light you pour like honey.
And your lights are not just northern,
But all-encompassing, every dot
on a compass, every tick on every clock,
every key turning in every lock.
And every plink of every piano
Echoing. Love me. See me. Hold me.
And I do. I do until time is through,
And into eternity, I'll keep seeing you.
Feeling truth, bleeding hope through
love starved roots. Until a tree of life
breaches the earth, growing to the moon.
