Try to hide, yet nothing can disguise
the look, the gaze, the deep beauty in your eyes
you feel unworthy ashamed, not fit to play the game
but you are already player one, the highest in the hall of fame

An angel in flight, such an awesome sight, fit to take the stage
to be under the shining lights, your name should be first on the page
yet there is doubt, creeping, you hide beneath, not worth the praise
but you are a blessing, your light outshines the suns brightest rays

You try to hide from the looks of the rest

feels like they are just putting you to the test
feel unworthy of award
