The days never seem to end, walking asleep
barely start, just exist in between
you could drop in at any point, always the same
any time at all, nothing ever changes the game
The drone of the wind through the window
the glare of the sun on screen
the things we do
no life in between
The days could become one, us a dormant swarm
just a big grey cloudy storm
a constant downpour of freezing rain
as the lightning fries the brain
The days go on and on, daydreaming, so far gone
too many passed to find the right tone
no escape from the aching gloom
until the new moon enters the room
The nights, the life begins at last
after the hours of daylight pass
the dancing, singing, friendships can eclipse
the sun, long in the past, now we give the stars a kiss
Thanks for reading.
Peace and Love
Kyle.
