Not afraid of the dark

Not afraid of the dark, it doesn't give me a start
that icy cold chill, like dead fingers touching the heart
not scared of beings that lurk, in shadows that grow
under the moonlights wicked smirk, just a light show

The madness that floods at 4 in the morn
when the world is asleep, and my head is a storm
none of this scares me as much, as you waving goodbye
you disappear into the night, makes my heart stop and die

Not in fear of the clouds that crowd my thoughts
nor the rumble of thunder that sounds like gunshots
the rains that flow, don't hurt me so
they just give me a reason to hide low

When the winds blow a gale, and trees fall and crash
no alarm bells ring, no warning lights flash
when faces lear through the mist, they don't shake their fists
they see this fragile face of glass, though shattered, it still exists

Not the horrors of the world outside that bring fear
its the lonely blanket, this empty house right here

Thanks for Reading,
Peace & Love.
Kyle.
