On that voiceless
silent night,
something was planted,
deep inside.
A thought,
caught on a
breath of wind,
to become a part
of my dreams.
Like a seedling,
needing to be
entrenched
deep in
this
muddy soul
It would need
feeding,
nourishment
to aid its journey
of healing,
to rebuild this broken shell
into something whole.
That distant twilight
under silver spotlight,
I heard a whisper.
Delicately delivered
from the sweetest
honey drenched lips.
Just a message.
To hold on tight
to every word sent
on the waves of moonlight.
They will help to put things right.
The kiss of life sent,
just sat awaiting it's delivery,
a feeling, glittery butterflies
making my insides feel jittery,
skin tingling, shivery. And I sit
here on the periphery,
in gradual recovery.
