Somehow you got in
an intruder breaking into my dreams
you got under my skin
ripped my heart from the seams

Never should have opened that door
you're like a vampire I invited in
now I cant escape, like a prisoner of war
a battle I cant win

A four letter word, love, the worst of all scrapes
it shreds you of your senses, leaves you defenceless
like a fish caught on a hook no escape
leaves you feeling helpless

Yet I know that if you call
ill answer the phone, seal my fate
take another fall
into this world of hate
