No need for self pity, where does that get me

never solves the problems, just pours on the misery

the world doesnt owe, it just goes with its own flow

all I can change is the me on show

No need to compare, when will that ever make things better

all I can be is myself, no need for such terror

I create my life with the choices I take

so no one else is to blame for any mistakes

Dont need to prove myself to anyone

know inside deep im strong

have been sitting for way too long

singing along to the wrong song

No need to worry when the worst doesnt matter

can just get on and enjoy the laughter

rather than mope deep down in a hole

let the sunshine envelop my whole

This life, full of all new lessons to learn

the past grants an education, each one we earn

yesterday so long, the past left shattered

today tomorrow, a new day, life, all that matters
