your heartbeat, the tunes it sets free
the rumble of a storm over all we see
the moments I wish to share forevermore

Lost mind, left behind the smiles
that time once shined, down on these forlorn eyes
like diamond lights in grey skies
I want to fill my soul with these brightness stockpiles

I want to say, will you be
all and everything I dream
a beach to my stormy seas, a bank to my stream
will you plant yourself in my life like a tree

Sometimes my mind goes slow, the clouds will show
will you still share your glow?
can you hold my heart, keep it safe and warm
