A storm within a hurricane

Our skin breathing

as one, a storm

within a hurricane.

A whirlwind in a tornado,

we swirl together like cream

through our perfectly

blended dreams,

wishing to taste

the extraordinary

moments where our

shallow breaths

become hollowed out

screams.

Fear disintegrated,

disinterested

in trying to trip us,

nor trying to trick us,

just treat us

to those moments

where shared heartbeats

are our symphony

and the choir of birds

are singing along.

Left to our selves,

naked as the day we were born.

The sounds of the world meld into one.

Only our touches matter,

now the fear in ourselves has gone.

We devour every inch,

every morsel of flesh.

Hunger insatiable,

I need you more than I need another breath,

anything else feels like a slow death.

Two souls entwined,

became one combined.

Two parts of one united sign.

Even when the skies start to bend,

and the lights start to blind.

Those souls are like

two shooting stars

forever aligned.
