Stillness - napowrimo poem 12

In the stillness of

a daydream,

I witness forever

float upstream

upon the petals of a flower,

like a boat upon the sea.

In the stillness of a heartbeat

I feel the earth

spin under my feet,

I feel the wind caressing

my face,

I feel destiny, hear her sing

and I see my place

in the midst of everything.

And down flows

a ray of light,

so bright I freeze,

and in the light

a swaying sign,

a heart and a rose.

A symbol of love so divine.

And I know

that one lone voice

could part the seas

of my mind. That voice

could make the stars align.

And in the stillness of a daydream

that voice feels like home.
