Let's just go, we can leave

let's just flow in the breeze

you and me, two embers dancing

who knows where we will be landing

hand in hand, we can explore the land

no plans too grand, no fear to withstand

 

Let's see where tomorrow takes us

because it would be a crime to let love evade us

the future as gorgeous as a waterfall

flowing over the river of time

and it all ours, yours and mine

if we want to let our hearts entwine

 

Let's just leave, for a while

forget everything that cuts

everything that turns our guts

the snakes that steal trust

let us instead follow the roads of love

not stay here for one more day

listening to the hurtful things that people say

the wicked games they play

 

Let us just turn away

let our feet walk into the sunlight

and leave this place in the dark of night

follow that star

a spark from the heart

just jump in a car

and journey towards a new start

where we can be stars in our own right

outshining the moon with our love light

 

Let us go, travel wherever the winds blow

somewhere our dreams can grow

out of the nightmares that we hold inside

if we just take this moment to glide

through the clouds above
