carved from ruby jewels

a feeling so beautiful

Smiles shine through dark clouds

they appear like ghosts in crowds

they can make you feel alive

makes you want to curl up and die

need to thrive

a smile meant with heart

given whole

like a sticking plaster on the soul

though eyes can sometimes obscure

raised lips

from all the torn up

jagged bits

Smiles can be like lakes

open waters

wide enough to contain

more love than you can take

full of depth

like love pools

to dive into

cleansing away

the stains of past mistakes

Smiles bring warmth

like a flame sitting inside

or a summer sun

burning on and on

wear your smile with pride

let love be your guide
