Once upon a distant night
A dark foreboding eve
I looked out over yonder sights
And found I couldn’t breathe
For standing tall and menacing
The skeletal man did wave
He
said no time for reminiscing
And pointed at a grave
In hand he turned his scythe
Laughing eerily
I wanted to run for my life
But my legs just wouldn't flee
Chuckling through bone and gristle
A
very creepy sound
Not quite a laugh, more a whistle
He dug into the ground
Finally, he spoke
The booming tones did ring
this
was the point where I awoke
hungover head in a spin
I didn’t hear his final speech
Just a few words did rain
A warning he was trying to teach
About a world of pain
He
spoke full throttle
A
battle of which I was on the brink
So, I opened up that whisky bottle
And poured it down the sink
Thanks For Reading.
Peace & Love.
Kyle.
