That sideways smile
in the air,
it reminds me
of a moment shared.
A memory wisp
floating
in the space
between my ears.
It sparks electricity.
Reminiscing about
the sway of your hair.
The way you looked,
like a queen,
moonlight crown
adorning your head.
Robed in jewels
of the finest night,
and my lips
form a smile.
That crescent grin,
a pleasant evening,
Amongst the countryside's flora.
We bathed in the liquid light
of earth’s natural satellite.
My heart moon sized,
It beat out a tune.
A song of la luna.
The stars swooned,
as souls lit up the atmosphere.
A smile shared,
stuck like glue in the air.
That smile,
it reminds me
of beauty.
The kind that lives
behind the eyes.
It sings songs
in cosmic tongues,
that still echo inside.
Translated by
the loving glow
that sits on high.
That smile sits ready to kiss,
lips desire to be pressed,
hearts want to hold in a caress
and watch
as the moon
undresses every fear,
rebalances the air,
makes inhibitions leave here,
as we sit and stare
deeply into eyes,
seeing wide open skies
and loving countryside.
