Crystals of peace

 

You string pearls of truth

into a halo of justice,

you fashion nuggets of hope

into a crown of belief.

You sow the seeds of imagination

and watch as they become trees.

You dust my dreams.

with the finest sweet crystals of peace.

I trust your heart from here to eternity.

 

Under the moon up high

to the stream by our side,

from the roses that bloom

to the butterflies

that lighten the gloom.

All so beautiful,

but not nearly as dazzling as you.

I'd stride into every day

with a smile upon my face,

knowing that its always

your lips I'd taste.

 

You outshine the sun,

you sparkle more than diamonds,

more than the stars above.

You glow with love

and the heart of an angel.

You sprinkle joy over my eyes

like a fine snow drift

from winter skies.

I'd walk with you

every step of your life

if you would hold my hand

and guide me right.

 

Under the blanket of midnight,

I’d sleep peacefully by your side.

The dreams we would share

would be a fantasy life.

I'd never turn my eye,

or fall for another sunbeam.

I'd only ever see

the magical woman of my dreams

who shows me true beauty.
