Across the universe I hear
the singing songs
of celestial verse.
A Starburst of atmospheric parts.
The music of planetary hearts,
infinite sounds
wash over me
like tides
of empyreal seas.
Across the bubbling cosmos,
I hear the cosmic beat
of pulsar stars.
Astronomical orchestration.
The vibration
of distant constellations,
humming through every atom.
Across the vast expansive dance floor
of the galactic ball room,
I hear the haunting tune,
the sound of choirs singing,
distant planets exploding,
as supernova stars collapse and die.
I hear the echoed lows
collide with the beautiful highs.
A symphony of magnificence.
I hear them
under the turbulent triumphant skies.
Across the interstellar ballet of space,
I hear the ice giant's opera play.
I hear the stardust sway,
A shimmering percussive sound.
I hear the space debris,
bits of old rocket gone astray,
whizzing around at supersonic speeds.
I hear the sound of a pin drop
as it all blows away.
And I’m back on earth.
Hearing the sounds
of the world,
The beauty in nature.
The call of birds.
The song that whistles
through leaves,
humming gently
in the breeze.
