Throw me a miracle

 

Throw me a miracle,

send me something beautiful.

Show me an ornamental statue

or something lyrical.

Show me the magic

that swirls through

the forest grasses

and the heat of

the firestorm passes.

Show me something unique,

let your words speak

without moving your lips.

 

Throw me a miracle,

some chimerical

fantasy.

Let me wade through 

purple seas,

in search of the beauty

who sees that I am not a beast.

Show me the magic.

I want to inspire hope not panic.

Show me good instead

of something quite tragic.

 

Throw me a miracle,

I'll catch it with ease,

let me take words

inscribed in stardust,

use them

to inspire all of us.

Show me grand monuments

of the mind

amidst tiny specks of sand.

I want to see

all the wonders we can find.

I want to take 

the future by the hand.
