Jupiter and Venus
close in for a kiss.
The moon expresses
a wistful sigh.
Giving them her blessings,
as they get closer.
Venus
with smouldering fires inside.
Jupiter
locking eyes,
coolly tries to glide.
Planet sized
heartbeats collide.
The moon sits behind a cloud,
giving the two lovers their privacy,
as they get closer, intimately.
They take their time,
never rush.
Many years will pass
before their next brush.
They take it slow.
Jupiter the giant
of the heavens,
sees Venus hot and fiery
seductivly beckon.
They kiss,
brightening our skies,
for just a few moments
in planetary time,
they shine.
A beacon to lovers,
a ray of light
for others to join hands.
Feel the universal love
trickle over
like fine sands.
And then they part,
knowing that in time
they will share their hearts
once more.
Until then,
they circle through space,
dancing in memory,
of that kiss
and the planetary embrace.
