Surge of hate

They keep breeding.

Too many

incessant insects,

taking

too much space,

into my face

they swoop.

Feeding.

Feasting.

On what?

I don't know,

but they are

making me feel entombed.

Their wiry bodies

filling the room.

They are flapping,

sapping my energy,

frustrating me.

They swarm,

buzzing

like an oncoming storm.

These creepy beings

keep flooding,

sucking up

the blood I'm letting.

Sweating. I'm fretting,

at the feeling I'm getting.

A plague of insects,

the sky slate black.

Bubbling, agitated,

ready to attack.

Like waves on a sea,

they blend.

Frothing, melting,

it never ends.

Swirling, circling,

the just keep burbling,

a blood curdling sound.

Morphing, it mixes

with your heart as it pounds

and they keep going

Never stopping,

never slowing down.

They keep breeding.

What is in the water?

Flying around,

they irritate

It gets harder

each day to navigate

this continual

surge of hate.
