Fingers brushing
like soft satin
across
naked
tingling skin.
I'm blushing,
anticipation
rushing
through
my veins.
And we kiss,
I taste
the sugary drink
that you
delicately sipped,
the lip balm
on your
sweet lips,
the calming
feel
of your hands
touching hips.
The energy
in the air
swells,
thunder rips.
A thunderbolt
paints the room
In light.
You, a silhouetted sight
moving
to the rhythm of the night
and me holding you tight.
The scent of rain
and a hint
of floral perfume.
Your honey dew smile,
and the rumble
of nature's tune,
as we sway in arms,
like vines of
entangled oak trees,
waving
in the stormy breeze.
or ships on a choppy sea
but everything is okay
because its always just
you and me.
