When snowflake smiles
melt across warmed lips,
and snowdrop hearts
feel the first sips of heat,
love comes out smiling,
like how the moon slips
from behind a cloud
to look down over our street
and see us shining.
Icicles gleam
above the frozen stream,
as we walk in crystal dreams
through snow dressed scenes.
We hold on tight, underneath
icy moonbeams
as the snow falls
like frosted starlight sprinkles,
we huddle close, blessed
by our body heat
as the gentle touch
delicately tingles.
And when snow blown kisses
overthrow my inhibitions,
I fall to the ground,
because I'm sure I saw
a snow angel here before.
I let the drifting star shapes
fall over closed eyelids,
embracing the soft touch
as they melt across my face.
For they are like your fingers,
gently teasing and stroking,
easing away any bitter taste.
