Welcome to
the greatest show of your life.
The biggest bang on earth,
as the comet breaches our skies.
This will not be televised,
and there will be no encores,
no sequels in store.
We won't be back for more.
This is a one-off event.
A once in a lifetime chance,
to dance under the burning night.
Tickets sold out quicker than Taylor Swift,
and boy did those tickets shift,
but here you are with front row seats,
please enjoy the food,
the main course will be served
at half past three
out on the concourse
as we will witness
the tail end of our history,
as the sailing comet
should come into land imminently.
We will not be serving desserts,
unless they have a kitchen in the afterlife.
We will be setting aside a short break
before the main event takes place,
so that you can contact anyone you need,
but please make it brief,
you don't want to lose your seat.
We hope you have enjoyed our hospitality,
and don't worry about the limbs
you had to sell to pay for this privilege,
you won't be needing them
once this day is finished,
which will be in about 5 minutes.
Wondering why we
wanted to be paid?
You didn't really think
we would stay!
We are away on a private planet,
many miles away
Watching proceedings
in glorious luxury.
