Just a lick of light
flossing through
the candy floss clouds,
sat teasing
the caramel glass horizon,
to taste the lollipop
skies of life.
We walk under these sweet delights.
You and I.
So far apart,
but the same skies
fill our eyes.
Sherbert fantasy tingling
the fizzle of electricity,
creating goosebumps
like a field upon skin.
Your fields
so far away,
would work so perfect
lying next to mine,
a patchwork display
playing over a countryside
seen from lemon drizzle skies.
As night transpires,
to fill minds with lust,
listless thoughts explore
exposing loves sugar dust.
The silver wrapped moon
shines across the
chocolate wrapper blue.
Stunningly combusts.
Stirring the exploding
paint of this room.
Making the colours meld,
dancing, swirling through.
As we caress and kiss.
Completely
ignoring the view.
