As I wander outside
I think to myself,
are you rainbows
or storm clouds?
I wonder out loud
or a mix of both.
Bright and colourful,
dark and mysterious
and I speak in verbal rivers,
a mix is always best,
light and dark blend so well.
Unique with a special twist.
Balancing on a tree stump,
my mind wobbles and thinks,
are you passionate like fire
or quiet like a peaceful stream?
My mouth speaks,
of somewhere in between,
that's surely the best,
Fire brings heat,
to keep the spark,
water calms
the fluttering heart.
Dancing under drizzling skies
my mind twirls in thought,
are you summer
with eyes that shimmer
in the hot fire
pr maybe winter,
With ice and snow,
a warming mug of cocoa
and your favourite show?
My mouth retorts.
How about you go for broke
have a little bit of both.
