Man
destroys,
always
wanting
flashy new toys.
We dig up
resources,
like we dredge up pain.
We pollute the heavens,
then complain
when we are burnt by the rain.
All to create weapons
that will destroy us.
Over and over again.
Man destroys.
Annihilation
is our common
voice.
Always take
never give.
Honestly
we are up
the creak,
but Instead
of a boat
we are
piloting a sieve.
Is it harder
to plant a seed,
instead
of devouring
everything.
Slavishly savouring
the poisons
on which we decide to feast.
Destruction
is our name.
We poisoned
the lakes,
the oceans,
the seas.
We blighted
every tree.
Polluted
every memory.
We drill for oil
to power our
corrupted
degeneration machines.
One day
it will all
take its toll,
It will all
start to crumble
into dust,
it will fall.
We bombed
the atolls
with radiation,
created unsafe havens.
All to test a bomb
that we can't use
or it will trigger
armageddon.
