Send books

not bombs.

Hugs outweigh

ammunition.

History

teaches lessons

to those

that listen .

Bad intentions.

cause rivers of blood 

to glisten .

So, read

and don't repeat

the same frustrating

storylines

over and over.

 

Send love

not guns.

Hope not aggression.

Fighting just heightens

oppression.

Let us free minds

send a message.

We don't want

this never ending

cycle of death.

 

Send handshakes,

not hand grenades.

Share landscapes,

instead of taking lands.

Pull down walls,

instead of building fortresses.

Stop looking with distrust

at all these people, just

like you and me.

All they want

is to live freely.

 

Send cuddles,

not cluster bombs.

Feed minds.

instead of

seeding minefields.

Send dreams

not nightmares.

Send goals,

instead of

planting your flag there.

 

Let's put behind us

this human curse

of thinking we own

any part of this earth.

Of thinking

that our borders

mean something,

They are just lines 

drawn on a map,

it's all a trap.

To keep us blaming others

for our own governments crap.
