Sail the lake of stars

 

Let us sail

to the

lake of stars

in a

spaceship

of hearts.

Let us

soar

through

clouds

of desire

Never looking

back

at the raging fires

never looking

down

as we

slingshot

around

the silent moon.

She smiles.

However many

miles

let us keep

flying

to the stars,

past

the monuments

of Mars.

Beyond

the still

solar system

let us take

in the wonders,

the thrills

and the galactic will

of the milky way

Let's never

look back.

Not even

for a day.
