I sense the colours on the wind.
The violet scent of your perfume
bursting through
the bright vibrant
green of the lush grass.
Mingling with
the light fragrant
summer rain, as we pass.
I sense the intense red
of passion burning
like embers dancing
above a campsite fire.
I feel them flying higher
as I sense my heartbeat raise,
trying to race them to the stars.
I sense the rushing blues
of water rippling through
this colour-filled meadow
where we lay, me and you
I feel the magenta sweetness
dripping through cherry red kisses
and under tangerine skies,
I gaze deep into sky blue eyes.
I sense the yellow sun
as I feel the orange glow.
Smell the red of roses,
and the green grass that grows.
I can feel the colours,
taste them on the air.
They touch me softly
to show
that they are there.
I see sky blue eyes
looking into my own,
In this eternal yellow sunrise
I finally feel I'm home.
