Let us
take off
into the night.
We don't need wings,
we can take flight upon
the vaporous tails of comets.
Just take my hand and we will embark
through the cold dark
doorway next to mars,
into the distance. In cosmic bliss.
Our shared existence.
Our experiences lead to this.
We can fly above oceans,
seeing over the sands.
Our never land, our forever land,
where love is written in words
of dance,
beside the rapturous stars.
This ballet, ours.
as they glitter and fizzle,
like glamorous hearts,
to the universal applause,
under stage show lighting.
Waiting in the wings
of our theatre of life,
where through the clouds, sings
a song of hope that
will never depart.
And we need
never land.
Just floating through
this wonderland
we can pan
for gold,
before it all peters out.
Just a wish,
floating on the wash.
I'll be your lost boy,
in search of a home,
if you'll be Tinkerbell
waving a wand
to highlight
the ringed road
to our paradise.
We can get hooked
on the journey
as we float past
Wendy house cities.
Darling, we will
never grow old,
that ticking clock,
is not for us.
Its crocodile tears
won't rise, skywards,
We will be free
to spend
eternity,
playing in the mystical spray
If these everlasting
galactic waterways.
It's all only a dream away.
