Selfish heart

In a fit of passion,

hands Interlocked.

Towards bedroom,

where she defrocked.

Heartbeat racing,

fingertips tracing

symbols of love.

Words of forever.

When for him

forever only ever

meant tonight.

With that shit eating grin,

his smirking face betrayed

the selfish heart within,

barely beating it was frayed,

a withered cold lonely thing

within this frame of a 'man'.

A bitter soulless 'man'.

Only cares about himself

and getting what he can.

Gives a bad name to those who

would worship and adore you.

Snake eyes never lie.

and they very

rarely stay behind.

Once their skin is shed,

they leap from the bed.

Just a thread of humanity

in his reptile mind.

A stain on the crumpled

bedsheets of mankind.

As he walks away,

to his next conquest,

playing the fields

until they are all left empty

A used-up tissue

of a man,

coated in slick

hair gel residue,

not a giver,

just a player.

Not a sticker,

just a strayer.

A sticky waste

of  trust.

Icky taste

of disgust,

sickly waist,

gonna

throw up.
