I like the sound
love makes when it walks into a room,
a song singing summer fields to life,
to see the butterfly hearts
and the smiling flowers
swaying and dancing in tune.
I love the feeling of a kiss
as it releases trapped lips
with sweet tasting electricity, zipping
like a storm that is only there to please.
Teasing lips gently apart, to breathe the fresh breeze.
the cleanest air your mind could ever conceive
and in those brief times things go astray,
the beauty of shared whispered apologies,
swirly circling away.
The whirling hurt felt chasing after
like children at play.
I love the feeling of
whispered sweet nothings,
as they brush your cheeks,
feather soft, they speak
to every single dimple and pore,
they caress every stowaway
slowing heartbeat
that you have stored up. Ready to erupt.
That burst of joy.
As your heart starts to race again.
Embracing every moment,
knowing that it's real,
that showing your soul
and the deeper parts within
are not going to leave you alone in
this field of love.
I love the way words
don't always need to be used,
sometimes telepathy is real,
how two hearts can just know
when the other is yearning,
like when you pick up your phone
before it rings
and then she starts calling.
The magic at work
as the earth is turning
can be hard to navigate.
Sometimes you have to find the right keys
to unlock the doors of fate,
or just sit and patiently wait.
Your time isn't ready.
it's in the oven baking.
