I want your crystalline shell
to melt around me.
I'll sup the waters until
they are no more.
To witness those eyes
looking to see.
To see you there
looking out to sea,
I'd see myself
in love with you.
and I'd see you falling
in love with me too.
I'd melt away your icy barrier,
the wall you use to protect.
Feel as its waters flow away.
So you can see clearly, I'd project
an image onto your wall. Calling you to me.
I'd scrawl my name upon the moon,
in magic ink that only you will see.
I want you to see the world afresh
not like looking though
a smeared screen,
or a faded mesh
I want you here with me.
In my arms
Where I can keep giving warmth.
To make every last ice shard,
soften and thaw.
I'll burn as hot as the sun for you,
I'd melt right through
the walls if it would help.
I'd combust into a million fires
to keep you warm.
Even if it leaves me
just burnt-out ashes on the floor,
because if the last thing I ever saw
was that smile beaming out,
I'd be happy to my core
of that there is no doubt,
of this I am completely sure.
